Meet The Creatrice

Skylar Howrish is the creative visionary behind the Creatrice Tarot, an illustrious author, artist, storyteller, and intuitive tarot reader.

Along her own path of spiritual awakening, innocent curiosity called her to pick up the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck and since then, she’s been launched into the orbit of cosmic remembrance and esoteric study. Glimpses of ancient archetypes unleashed a veiled passion to explore the unseen forces of the Universe and harness the wisdom bestowed in the cards. Now Skylar is making it her mission to inspire our inner quest to live a more magical life and satisfy our unfolding spiritual wanderlust.

Skylar captivates audiences to bring potent soul medicine to the world in the form of art and Tarot. For her, Tarot has always been a bridge for connection, healing, and spiritual transformation—a powerful portal into our inner world that invites us to dance and play with the cosmic energies of the Universe.

Skylar has faith in the invisible, love for the unknown, and a heart for healing and magic. Her offerings inspire us to embrace our power as creators and connect to something greater than ourselves. For the spiritual seekers in search of answers, she is here to show you the door to the magic that lies within.

Words From The Creatrice

Years ago, when I first began learning Tarot, I never imagined that I would end up here—that there was an inner oracle, waiting to emerge. For someone who now regularly peaks behind the cosmic curtain into the future, this was a plot twist that I, ironically—never saw coming. We don’t always know when or how the magic will find us. All that really matters is that we embrace it when it does.

I will forever be inspired by the Tarot and the profound magic and wisdom it holds. I am eternally grateful for the gift that it has given me…this opportunity to meet all of you. It is truly an honor and a privilege to witness the human experience from my point of view—through cards and conversation. Tarot is a window into the soul, and I feel beyond lucky that I get to connect with people in this strange and magical way.

The true use of art is, first, to cultivate the artist’s own spiritual nature.

The Creatrice revealed herself slowly and delicately through a process of metamorphosis and divine unfolding. Along the way, I have learned to surrender and trust in God’s plan, wherever it’s leading me. I’ve also realized that, as fated as life may seem, I also have a role to play. On this wild journey, I get to be creative and ask for more of what I want—more of what my soul wants. I may have a destiny, but I also have a lot of freedom to play and to create as I dance my way through life.

For the few things that I seem to have control over, I’m choosing to let the magic shine through the mundane moments, to share more of my spiritual curiosities and musings with the Seekers who are ready to join me, approaching life with an eternal curiosity that keeps me perpetually enchanted as I go along.

I don’t know much, but what I do know is that when I leave space for the Universe to surprise me, I’m never disappointed. So why not see how deep this rabbit hole really goes?
